Coitus interruptus
Believe it or not, but the most popular natural method of contraception is so called coitus interruptus, that is taking out the erected penis out of the vagina just after the ejaculation. While using this method you have to follow some rules:
Ejaculation must take place out of the womans vagina
It is necessary to avoid sperms contact with the womans genitals
To keep on the safe side, you should have a spermicide at hand, so as to avoid getting pregnant if sperm got in vagina.
Advantages:
This methods advantage is in its availability and in its ease to use. The method does not require any special devices.
Disadvantages:
Unfortunately, this method of contraception has more disadvantages than advantages. First of all it is very risky, as it does not guarantee that a drop of sperm will not get on the genitals. When a man is ready for the intercourse his penis eliminates some liquid that might contain sperm. Also this method hampers sexual pleasure and is likely to cause neurosis. Remember that coitus interruptus does not protect you from sexually transmitted infections.
In spite of all the methods disadvantages, it is better to use it than to have unprotected sex.
