Douching, taking a bath or any other kind of hygienic procedures after intercourse very often turn out to be useless, as sperm might have already achieved the egg cell.
Some women douche simple with water, while others turn out to be more inventive and add in the water lemon juice or even soap. Believe it or not, some women douche even with....coca-cola! Though all these trick influence pH, they do not give a 100 percent guarantee that you will not get pregnant. What is more, such contraceptives can easily cause some vaginal diseases.

Do not let your partner talk you into , otherwise you will have to suffer for the rest of the life since it might lead to unplanned pregnancy or to a sexually transmitted disease that will affect your sexual health and ability to have children. Care about yourself and your future. Never agree to unprotected sex!
Intrauterine contraceptives are harmful
Many people think that intrauterine contraceptives being a foreign body cannot be harmless. Actually these are one of the oldest methods of contraception. An analogue of intrauterine loop was invented by ancient Arabians for camels. They put a stone in the uterus of a female camel so that it would not get pregnant during long journeys.
Modern intrauterine contraceptives are made of safe materials and almost never cause any troubles, provided it is chosen and used properly.
